The formation of Jesuits for ministry takes around eleven years. Young men are trained in philosophy, theology, and pastoral skills. Aside from academic formation, future workers in the vineyard also need opportunities for spiritual growth. Investing in the next generation of ministers is investing in the Church.

Philippine Jesuit Aid Association, Inc. (PJAA) is the Development Office of the Philippine Jesuits. We invite men and women to become partners in the mission entrusted to the Philippine Jesuits by their generous gift of prayers and charity especially for the following areas:

Apostolic Works that Require Subsidy, Especially Work for and with the Poor
Philippine Jesuits are engaged in rural parishes and parochial schools, ministry with indigenous people, chaplaincies among the poor, and social programs and research among grassroots communities. Whether in the mountains of Bukidnon in Mindanao, on the island of Culion in Palawan, in Bilibid prisons, charity wards of PGH, or in urban settings, the Lord invites partners.

Caring for Aged and Infirm Jesuits
Jesuit priests and brothers deserve our care and compassion, who after toiling long years in school, social, parish, or retreat work now stay in the Province infirmary. With you as our partners in mission, PJAA helps to ensure that these men receive adequate medical care.

PJAA VISION
Strong partnerships between the Philippine Jesuits and lay women and men in support of the mission entrusted to the Philippine Jesuits by God and the Church in service of the Filipino people.
PJAA MISSION
To raise funds to support the following:
- formation and education of the next generation of Jesuit priests and brothers for various dioceses of the Philippines
- care for the elderly and infirm Jesuits
- pastoral works in the island of Culion and in the mountains of Mindanao
- ministry to prisoners, the sick, the poor and indigenous people
- values formation through the centers of Ignatian Spirituality and those for Social Justice
- all other works the Philippine Province undertakes for God’s greater glory and for the integral development of the Filipino people.
We thank everyone who has supported the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus with their prayers and generosity all these years. Without you, it would be impossible for us to do the mission which the Lord and the Church has given us.
Please contact PJAA to learn more about our work and to find out how you can support the Philippine Province Jesuits.
