This is to inform you that FR. ROBERTO D. DY, S.J., died on January 6, 2023 in The Medical City, Pasig City. Fr. Bert, 91, had been in the I.C.U. for almost two weeks struggling with a severe case of viral pneumonia. He entered the Society in 1952 and was ordained to the presbyterate in 1966.
After cremation tomorrow, Saturday, his ashes will be brought to Jesuit communities on the Ateneo de Manila University campus, beginning with the Jesuit Health and Wellness Center. Wake Mass times will be as arranged in the respective communities. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Loyola House of Studies’s Oratory of St. Ignatius at 8 a.m. on Saturday, 14 January. The ashes will then be brought to Cagayan de Oro for interment on 19 January.
