This is to inform you that FR. EMERITO SALUSTIANO R. DE LA RAMA, S. J. died early this morning, March 24, 2021, in his office at Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City. Fr. Salty, 60, had a cardiac condition and succumbed quite suddenly to what seems to have been heart failure. He entered the Society in 1987 and was ordained to the presbyterate in 1998. Requiescat in pace.
In view of pandemic considerations, Fr. Salty’s remains will be cremated and the ashes brought to the AdMU’s Jesuit Residence for in-house memorial Masses there and in other communities on campus. They will then be kept in the Jesuit Health and Wellness Center until a proper funeral Mass and inurnment in the Province cemetery at Sacred Heart Novitiate can be scheduled.
