Eleven Jesuits from the Jesuit Conference Asia Pacific (JCAP) will be ordained to the Diaconate on October 24, 2020 by Most Rev. Honesto F. Ongtioco, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Cubao. The ordination will take place at 9 a.m. in Ateneo de Manila University’s Church of the Gesù, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
Those to be ordained are the following: Scholastics Benjamin Thein Tun, SJ (Myanmar); Evodius Sapto Jati Nugruho, SJ (Indonesia); Francis Xavier Hoàng Trong An, SJ (Vietnam); Khaw Gei Khui Shing, SJ (Myanmar); John Thomas Kyaw Thu Win, SJ (Myanmar); Nikki James R. Lee, SJ (Philippines); Mamert B. Mañus, SJ (Philippines); Joseph Park Minwoong, SJ (Korea); John Phạm Duy Anh, SJ (Vietnam); Cesare Sposetti, SJ (Italy); and Michael Trần Gia Cảnh, SJ (Vietnam)
Following protocol considerations in view of the pandemic, physical attendance will be restricted and thus limited to campus Jesuits.
