Mediawise, through Mr. Ramoncito Cruz, (shown with Fr. Jose Arcilla, SJ and Fr. Herbert Schneider, SJ) received a Quill award for excellence for the coffee table book, “Jesuits in Mindanao: The Mission”. The book chronicles the life, hopes and joys of Jesuit missionaries among the people in Mindanao and honors current and past Jesuits’ accomplishments: the schools they built, and the people whose lives and thoughts they were able to influence.
“Graduates from these universities, like Mr. Cruz and his friends, continue to espouse the ideasl of St. Ignatius to become “men for others”, serving society, families, and God,” says Fr. Herbert Schneider, SJ, Director of JESUITAID (PJAA).
For a minimum donation of P5,000, the book will be given as a token of thanks to benefactors and donors. “The funds will go a long way to serve our fellow Jesuits who gave their all in mission and would still do so were it not for their illness and old age,” says Fr. Schneider. As JESUITAID is a PCNC accredited institution, proper acknowledgement and official receipts will be issued for all moneys received.
