First Reflection
Ignatius was given the gift of time and quiet time to read and reflect – His situation seems a bit similar to what many of us experience now –
We ask for the grace to use well the time left to us, especially during this pandemic –
We might ask for the grace to do a bit more special/spiritual reading and further grace – to reflect on what we read. Ignatius read the Life of Jesus (our Gospels) and the lives of the saints. We have plenty of good material accessible on the web. It is hard to do better than what Ignatius did – How do we put this into our schedules – for God’s greater glory?
End with the Prayer for Generosity
A Second Reflection
Considering all things that Ignatius may have done wrong or even evil, his devotion to Mother Mary was very strong – he went to her shrines before he would go to the Holy Land itself
Go back to that image of Mary at Montserrat, pray as Ignatius did – perhaps a prayer of offering or for strength – ask Mary to place you next to her Son.
End this time of prayer with a Hail Mary.
