Joint AIR-LHS Commemoration of Fr. Arrupe’s 23rd Death Anniversary

In an effort to strengthen ties between the two formation houses, Arrupe and Loyola House of Studies decided to hold a joint commemoration of the 23rd death anniversary of Fr. Pedro Arrupe, S.J. on 05 February 2014. For this, they invited Fr. Mark Raper, S.J., president of the AP Conference, to be main celebrant, with Rev. Yoht (Manasan) as assisting deacon. Fr. Mark shared highlights of Fr. Arrupe’s life and contributions to the Society.
After mass, a fusion dinner followed at the LHS refectory with AIR providing the pre-prands and dessert while LHS serving the main course. It was a lovely night of brotherhood/friendship in the Lord. By the looks of it, this might become an annual thing.
